Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider: Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The host processes visitors' personal data solely for the purpose of providing the website and on my behalf. A corresponding data processing agreement has been concluded.

When the website is accessed, the server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in what are known as log files. This generally comprises: the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of access, the name and URL of the file retrieved, the volume of data transferred, the previously visited page (referrer), as well as browser type, browser version and operating system.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in providing the website free of technical faults, securely and reliably. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of collection; the specific retention period follows the host's provisions.

Cookies, tracking and analytics

This website sets no cookies. No analytics or tracking services are used, no advertising networks are embedded, and no fonts or scripts are loaded from third-party servers. All content is delivered exclusively by the server named above. A consent banner is therefore not required.

Getting in touch

This website contains no contact form. If you contact me by email, your details will be stored in order to process the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries aimed at entering into a contractual relationship. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Where your data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object to that processing under Article 21 GDPR. Please use the address given above for all of these matters.

Independently of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
